Do Professional Organizers belong to a Member Organization?
Yes, most Professional Organizers belong to the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and adhere to strict standards of professional conduct and professionalism as prescribed in the organizations Code of Ethics. The National Association of Professional Organizers is a non-profit professional association whose members include organizing consultants, speakers, trainers, authors, and manufactures of organizing products. www.napo.net

A Professional Organizer can help you organize any task, project or event that requires planning and coordination such as:

How long does it take to become Organized?
After meeting with your Organizer, the two of you can decide how often and for how long you will work together. You may only need someone to review your project and offer suggestions, or to come in and actually do the work, it all depends on what works best for you and your situation.

How much does a Professional Organizer charge for their services?
The Organizer and client may meet over the phone or in person. Once you communicate your concerns, a fee based Written Assessment of your needs may be completed. It should include a time and cost estimate along with a detailed plan for your space or event. Organizers may charge by the hour and final costs are based on the size and scope of the project. There are times when an Organizer may charge a fixed fee or work on retainer.
